NEW 2024 DATES NOW AVAILABLE. REGISTRATION IS OPEN. APRIL 20, Saturday, 6:30pm MAY 2, Thursday, 6:30pm HOW TO PLAN A HUNT / WEBINAR covers essential planning tools for new Alberta hunters. This is a convenient, no-big-commitments course scheduled in the evenings as a Zoom videocall. Workshop is designed to help you find a productive hunting area, plan your season, and maximize your chances of harvesting your first big game. We provide useful tips that can take years to discover as a DIY learner. Your learning session is divided to two segments: 1. Alberta Hunting Experience Planning 2. E-Scouting & Research You will learn: WHERE AND WHEN YOU CAN HUNT IN ALBERTA. How to navigate regulations about land access , hunting zones and open seasons. We won't tell you where to go, but we'll make sure you know how to look for great hunting experiences. How to ENTER ALBERTA HUNTING DRAWS and increase your chances of being drawn. You will learn how to make wise draw choices for special licenses such as moose or mule deer. How to PLAN HUNTING SEASON considering your goals, type of hunting and how much time you have available to hunt. How to make SMART GEAR CHOICES and equipment check-lists. How to E-SCOUT & RESEARCH the hunting areas online. Using maps, satellite imagery and hunting apps to plan your adventure. - Workshop is limited to a maximum of six hunters per session. More information and tips on how to get the most out of the Zoom online session will be send your way after registration. ---- Please note that this course is not recognized as a provincial requirement for first-time hunters in Alberta. You must complete official Alberta Hunter Education Instructors Association (AHEIA) course to be able to purchase hunting licenses.

To cancel or reschedule, please contact us at least 48 hours prior to start time of your session. Cancellations made 48 hours and earlier are subject to full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours are not eligible for refund. In this case, we will be happy to reschedule you to a future date.
